This place is terrific for birdwatching and just walking around looking at water, turtles and ducks. Definitely recommended!
A bit of a hike if you're a bicyclist and not recommended for unseasoned bicyclists but a quick Uber ride away to visit a quiet nature center and walking path. The path circles a pretty large lake that turns into somewhat swampland at some points and has a few long bridge walks that take you to the center of the water for secluded views. A surplus of local birds are always there including cranes and cardinals, and if you get there before around 4pm they have an indoor nature center to walk through. Nice spot to see local flowers and possibly catch a few fish too.

This is my personal favorite - wetlands full of birds, deer, and beachy vibes. There's a visitor center as well as some very quiet hikes here. There's an eagle's nest and viewing platform! Near the airport.
