Great kids park by the river. Bring a change of clothes from Memorial day, because kids WILL get wet.

This is a wonderful playground in the park along the river. Reachable by bike path or by car (not far from downtown). My grandchildren love this place and they find kindred spirits to play with there. Small sprinkler/water feature in summer.

Great place for families - unique play structures, water play, and fabulous hiking trails just across the street. Take the walk along the river to the Rose Gardens or just enjoy the park itself.

Also called "Skinner Butte Park", this is a sprawling, riverfront recreational area with a superb playground for kids. There is sand. There are water features (in summer). Messy, but fun! Loads of grassy space for picnics, frisbee, dog running, etc. Adjacent to the riverfront bike trail, and the famous Skinner Butte, with a lookout on top.
