St. Giorgio Castle was built in the XVII Century on the hill where the first settlement of La Spezia was born. Today the restored castle houses the Archaeological Museum "U. Formentini", which collect documentation about surrounding area from the Prehistory to Medieval Age. It features also some statue stelae of Lunigiana (dating back IV millennium b.C).
Fantastically preserved Genoese Castle dated 1262. Archeological museum with fossils and objects from La Spezia and Luni dating back 3,000 years. Fantastic view of the bay from top of the Castle.
Beautiful Castle dating back to 1200 with views of the Gulf of La Spezia. Bellissimo Castello del 1200 con vista sul Golfo della Spezia.
